At Rosewood Cottage, we do not gate keep information.

We find Boundary Snowflake is an incredible breeder parent to cross with other cultivars due to its strong genetics in form, stem length, head to stem attachments, tuber production and quality of bloom.

We plant a Boundary Snowflake at the end of our dahlia rows and like to interplant them in our breeding rows, then sit back and let the bees do the rest.

If you are wanting to start breeding and don't want to put in the effort of hand painting and isolating seed parents, this pack might be a good one for you to start with.

Please note that this information is what we at Rosewood Cottage find works on our farm. There is no "one size fits all" method to breeding. We do recommend trial and error for your own breeding programs and can not guarantee that this method will work for you the same way it does for us. We are just offering information that helps on our farm.

This approach helps you guarantee the varieties you desire and expand your inventory, but it also involves some potential challenges. We take full responsibility for any unforeseen tuber loss until they are shipped. Your concern as a buyer is the possibility of unexpected loss of the preordered varieties. Should this happen, we will reach out to you to discuss alternatives, such as swapping varieties or issuing a refund.

Delivery Timeline: We begin sending out our dahlia tubers in late September, with expected delivery spanning from late September to early November. Different dahlia varieties become ready at various times, and our shipping schedule will be adjusted accordingly.

We ship within Australia only and due to biosecurity laws, we are unable to ship NT, TAS and WA.
